Ara Dabandjian

Ara Dabandjian Director, Accordion, Guitar, Oud
founded Element Band in 2005. His arrangements deliver unique expression of folk-fusion by incorporating deft instrumentation, lush vocal harmonies, and rich multi-ethnic musical styles. Ara has also composed and performed original scores for several Los Angeles based productions, including the Actors' Gang, the critically acclaimed play Red Dog Howls and Dr. J. Michael Hagopian’s last documentary film The River Ran Red. He firmly adheres to the concept of preservation of youth by association—as apparent by his 6 young band mates.

Shant Mahseredjian   Shant Mahseredjian Violin, Mandolin
is often referred to as a mathemusician. While ever-exploring the lifestyles of a gypsy violinist, he is pursuing a higher degree in applied mathematics to benefit the progress of green energy. His vibrancy sums the Element Band experience by prompting constant interaction with the crowd.
Krikor Sarafian

Krikor Sarafian Guitar (Acoustic and Electric)
enjoys playing diverse selections of foreign music, including the musical culture of his birthplace, the Middle East. With a degree in psychology, he works with children professionally and in his spare time, stays true to his passion for the guitar. His band mates lovingly refer to him as "The Good Guy."

Roman Samokish

Roman Samokish Bass
has been playing bass for over 10 years, and in that time has played varying styles ranging from jazz, blues, rock, Latin, funk, R & B. He is highly considered to be the funniest person in the band...by far.

Armen Meshefejian

Armen Meshefejian Drums, Percussion
unique in personality and talent, Armen is a peerless drummer who plays a wide array of hand percussions, combining energy with the anomalous sensitive touch that hand percussions demand. His versatility and technique make him a sought out musician.
